I think I recall that subs lose fuel points and such after an air attack. Does this apply to subs attacked by ships as well??? Seems like they are diving either way.

Subs lose fuel when attacking, I know. I believe they also lose fuel when attacked by ships (at least those subs that were hit have a tendency to be creeping back to port from lack of fuel).
