Hi fellows,
David changed the banner rotation script. Do you people with the script troubles still get a "virus warning" when accessing Matrix sites?
Thanks, Marc

Yes, unfortunately it's still there.

Yes, it was there, and that caused a funny situation on my school...
It´s weird how funny those virus messages can be... <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I had been getting this over the weekend while at home. I'm not at home now, nor know if it still does it or not, but at least while at work, at the present moment it's not doing it. At home I did redirect my favorites to the forums instead of the general Matrix home page, to get around having to deal with it all of the time.

Well the point in this whole matter is, that there is no virus or trojan. A few virus scanners adress the banner rotation script as a trojan <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> . Will get rid of the banner rotation script we have now.
Cheers, Marc

I'm disgusted. I come home and I'm getting trojan alerts on every single screen, including this one.

No need to be disgusted, as there´s no trojan or whatsoever. it´s the script that is adressed as one. We´ll get rid of it ASAP, but these are very very busy days here over at Matrix.
Sorry for the inoportuneness

10-4
Erhmmm,
sorry I don´t get that <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> .

10-4 is american slang for ok, which i guess is still slang.
Im still getting the virus warning too. At this point I ignore, but newcomers to the site may think it is a real virus. Not a good thing in the world of business.

10-4 is part of a code used by police, and used in citizen's band radio as well. I suppose the purer definition of 10-4 would be "understood or acknowledged". I don't recall too much of the code anymore, but I believe 10-8 meant "have arrived" for example.

Allright thanks,
I have a word document somwhere with all those number codes. OK is definetly slang but it´s also a very common word over here in Germany <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> .
You´re right about that "virus/business" matter. I guess we should just take te banner rotation offline untill we found a better one and have the time to incorporate it.

Man, please translate the german slang word "gebongt" for me , hehehehe.
I also didn´t get what you replied to me on the MG Forum, you know this "apples & peaches" thing.
When you´re back in Bonn I´ll only talk straight german slang to you <img src="wink.gif" border="0">
