Hi,
I'm wondering if damaged mortars get repaired at all? So far I have found that only armored units that have disabled their movement can get repaired. What about machine guns or light machine guns?
Any hints on how to get things repaired?

Repairs tend to happen if you are away from being targetted [wily meter *],are in close "sight" to your "0" unit, even closer to your A0 unit, and tends to depend on the type of damage inflicted such as immobilized, gun damage etc. etc.plus suppression 0 is imperitive.
Rough terrain/adverse conditions quick repairs -nope!,the inverse is applicable.
If with supporting infantry in same hex [unloaded] things tend to happen quite quickly [but dont bet on it !].
0b arty-never seen it
air -once.
INBUILT COMPUTER RULE:-Breakdowns will always occour to your biggest baddest unit in a forest facing backwards in the middle of nowwhere.

all in all its a lottery sorry

Ok. Thanks a lot Mother! I'll try to cover my damaged units with infantry, and keep my 0's close to them
