Repeat H2H question

Before I overwrite SPWAW 7.1 with H2H I would like to know whether this will prevent play of old scenarios and campaigns. If so, what files need to be saved freom &.1? And what do you do when 8.0 is available? Does 8.0 include the changes in H2H?

H2H and v7.1 (soon v8.0) are different games. The easiest way to have both on your system is to make a
separate installation of SPWAW in another folder...then apply the H2H patch to one and leave the other as v7.1 (you can upgrade that one to v8.0 when its available).
The other way is to make a couple TEMP folders and store the OOBs and mech.exe of the 2 games in them...then copy-n-paste when you want to change betwwen H2H and v7.
I believe there's a "sticky" somewhere giving detailed directions.
