I read the "deafgamers" review; I had thought that all a deaf player would miss would be the sound effects. Tonight I was playing WS with the sound off, while the radio was on. In the Core arena, my titans shutdown from overheating surprisingly quickly. I realised how important the verbal heat warnings were .. yes, of course, there's the thermometer, but the verbals really help to draw attention to what's going on. I think there should be a visual message, too ... not just for deaf gamers, either!
