WITP, is it done?

Saw a link for an 803kb download for WITP on matrix's site. Is this game done and viable or was that an old rendition?

I have not seen such a download. It must be advertising or some such.
WitP is now in alpha test and nobody knows when it will be done. Some have suggested next summer, and some have said that next summer is an optimistic estimate.
The progenitor of WitP, Uncommon Valor, is just a whisker short of being a gigabyte in size. I can't think that WitP will be much less than one and a half times as big.

Hi, That is the Matrix windows redo of the 1991 SSI game Pacific War a DOS program by the same designer of War in the Pacific Gary Grigsby.
The game has been redone with new maps and fixes. It's free.

Hi, It will run. It's been redone for windows.
Down in the PacWar matrix edition there is a thread on how to set up windows computers.

I can agree with the first 2, having been a member of the Flat Earth Society in uni

Your religion is almost the same as mine. I believe that the earth is safe, nuclear power can fly, and pigs is flat...

November 25th eh? Gawd . . . If you were quoting me when I said next summer, I reserved the right to decide whether that is summer in the northern hemisphere or down here in Oz (where summers are actually warm!).

"Warm" being somewhat of an understatement, I'd guess.

Hello...
Can't figure out how to recommend a posting, so I will just say this is quite funny. Almost fell out of my chair, when I read it.
A pleasant change from some posts I have read.
Thanks...
Michael Wood

November 25th? Holy Testing Crunch. I guess we better get moving if we're going to get it out of alpha, through beta and get the art done in time for Matrix to box and release it. In fact why am I wasting time posting here.

Amazon.com is also listing Airborne Assault: Highway to the Reich as "Available Now, ships within 24 hours" so I wouldn't put much stock in what they say.
