Red-Green Color Blindness

Hopefully this is the correct forum to lodge a complaint :)

I love Korsun Pocket, and particulary the Ardennes scenario, but you guys are killin' me with the prevalent use of reds and greens. The difference between supplied areas and unsupplied areas in the Show Supply Net feature is barely discernable to me - a red-green color blind gamer. The supply rectangles in the top right of the unit counter are also hard to discern.

Somewhere around 5-7% of all men are red-green color blind, or about 1 in 20 gamers. Please release a color blind patch like Sid Meier did for Alpha Centuri - blues, yellows and grays are beautiful! ;)

Btw, if you did a color patch you don't have to ditch the reds and greens - just don't put those two colors in opposition to each other. Using the Show Supply Net feature again as an example, one could leave the "supplied" shade as green, but change to "non-supplied" shade to a different color than red, or even no shade at all.

Oh, and please be careful with purples, too, since we don't see the "red" in the purple and it looks like dark blue to us.

This might help:

Please do change the colours. When red and green are next to each other they flare and it really hurts. I too suffer from this colour defect.

Hi Ross - noce to see you around.

I always wondered why you would let units get out of supply so easily, now I know :D

Tell me about it. Joe could end up beating me in our KP battle at the moment for this very reason... :o
