If you drove a Cooper Mini to work wouldn't you expect to be laughed at by the people driving the more up market cars?
How is this any different? You're driving a Chevy while we drive a Porsche.

Uh..bad analogy. Coopers f*cking own...

:p
Both the original version and the modern one. You just can't get that much driving fun for so little money anywhere else. Excellent handling and road grip.
Just my personal opinion.

Change the Mini to an AMC Pacer.
In fact, if you look at a Pacer and M4 side-by-side, there's a remarkable resemblance. Prototype maybe?
So,

We should suggest a 75mm armed Pacer as an upgrade to the M4? I, for one, would love to see an artists' rendering of this.

(As if poor Bryan doesn't have enough to do, he's now sorting through charts to find it. We love you, Bryan, really.)

I attempted to create one for you but ran into a problem...
The concept made my computer so sick it started projectile vomiting CD's and 3.5" floppies across the room (much to the detriment of various walls and windows) and the monitor developed a nasty tic along the edge. Some things are just too hideous to attempt I guess.

After the debacle with my computer and trying to make one for you, I decided on a different tactic.
At great personal risk, and using techniques I'd rather not go into in an open forum, I was able to raid certain DoD "Concept File" locations and "borrow" this rare photograph from their files.

No! Burned to the ground you say?
No apparent reason? Did it, maybe, catch sight of a Porsche or Mercedes? I'll bet that's what happened! It saw a German car and burst into flames. Genetics you know...
There we have it folks! More proof that the AMC Pacer is a direct descendant of the M4 Sherman! Spontaneous cumbustion at the mere sight of a German vehicle!
