Auto Move - Am I dumb?

OK, I like the auto move feature BUT, I can't figure out a way to stop Automoving without causing a skill check. Is there no way to say "after the next move, cancel the rest of the automove"? I understand that you get a skill check for cancelling a move in progress but I want to cancel in between moves. It makes this nice feature not so nice when you run into an unexpected enemy.

Currently you can't. In the patch, you can with F3. It asks you if you want to break move or finish current move.

Speaking of... when will the aforementioned patch be coming? Any ideas of a release date yet?

Small hints seem to indicate a release this week. But who knows the ways of the gods of Matrixgames ?
