I bought the game the day it came out and it sucked. I remember you could alt tab and be invisible french and british could spawn at the same places, no bombers except the ju-87 no spawn limits and no aa among other problems so i played for about 2-3 months then quit. Then i came back a year later and played for 3 months or so and quit again. Then i came back about 10 months ago and play pretty much 5-6 days a week for atleast 7 hours. IT is a great game and now that they have added freighters, light machine guns, smoke grenades, the stuart tank and even an apc with a lmg on it for the germans it just keeps on getting better and better. Plus there is talk of mortars being added so for those of you who havent tried it you should try it and those who used to play should give it a try again. If you are looking for a squad

I have the demo installed, can't seem to make heads or tails of how to actually get online though.
The busy looking web site pages while "neat" looking do zero for clarity.
I think someone should let the people in charge of the part of the process where people actually try to go online, know that if it was a bit more obvious, they might get a bit more traffic.
I just don't have the time needed to wander from this link to that link and back again wondering just where the hell I am supposed to be.
I think I have the software loaded right, but I frankly have no real assurances I do. And being shunted around after patches and updates has not helped much either.
I am just now checking out EYSA, and chances are my 14 days worth of free trial will expire long before I have time to fathom an enigmatic process for playing WWII Online.
Come on guys stop making it rocket science.

AT the top of the main page you can see a pic of leet doods with smg's, rifles with play for allies/ play for axis.
Once you click one of those you get sent to another page ie ALLIES/AXIS mainpage where in the grey box at the top there is a link top left'ish saying Play for allieds <- CLICK TO PLAY!
I agree they are kind of small and obtruse and i did have difficulty finding them when i first played, if this doesnt help hopefully the link i post will
ALLIES:

AXIS:

If thier is another reason you can't get on to play pls tell me and i'll try a figure a solution

Well I am trying the 14 day trial.
The Good
I like the changes, i.e. no pistols for infantry. The depot spawning is also pretty good. And the rifle aiming movement.
The Bad
Where is everyone? I didn't consider joining a squad because why bother on a 14 day trial. But when playing either side, I saw the EWS going off all over the place but these seemed to be caused by lone EI or ET's. When you spawned in invariably someone else killed the enemy or they were never seen.
During my 4 hours of play, I only saw about 4 - 5 contested towns, Brussels, St. Nik, Tienenin and a couple down south.
Now maybe this was a slow night but it was pretty boring for the most part.

If you fight British, tune ch18 and find out where they are. They are the BKB. You don't have to join the squad, just go fight in the same town as them.
If you fight for French, tune ch37. They are the 3rd Canadian.
If you fight for the Germans, I'm not sure where to tune...maybe someone can post on here.
If you don't see anyone talking on those channels, just ask "anyone on"? If they respond, just ask what city they're in.

If you play german, channel 10 and 11 are good.
They are the channels used by the 10th panzer division, and my squad, the 1st Lithuanian brigade, the iron wolves, uses them.
