when given the option of a salvagable titan or money, take the titan and then sell it from HQ...you`ll get more than double the money offered...[:D]

i think you shell out money when you take the titan by paying upkeep for it.

...could somebody put a little info up on how payment is made...I have two squads, one veteran & one rookie...it looks like the rookie team is getting as much payment/battle as the veteran...and of course I am concentrating on the business skills of my manager...I did have six jocks in the veteran squad (3 heavies, a medium, light and recon) but the upkeep was costing more than any payment or salvage I got (battles were usually opposition same or one lvl higher & 25~50% advantage to my team)...money is not easy to come by in this world...[:(]

It's explained in the guide, under financial balance.
Money the Squad gets for completing the objectives; depends only on the rank balance between Teams.
It’s a fixed amount, 125,000$ for same rank, ±25,000$ for each level difference in ranks.
Mission and campaign maps can award a base payment and additional money as success bonus.
Notice it only depends on rank balance. Salvage depends on size balance, and on how efficiently you disable opponents. And then there's bounty for killing jocks, and Special, which depends on your mechanic - here better squads have an advantage.
Also notice that *any* jock's business skill reduces his/her upkeep, not just the manager's.
Money shouldn't be easy to come by. Else a lot of the fun would be lost.
