I finally got KP to install. I had to completly uninstall Nortons and my Virtual CD manager to get it to load.

Now it tells me I must have the orginal CD to run the game. I have two CD drives on one channel, one as Primary and one as Secondary. I switched the CD from the one I installed from to the other. Same error message.

So I uninstall KP and install it from the other CD drive. Same message. Again tried changing the KP CD to the other drive, same message.

What do I do now? Seems like I am out $60.00US. Probably will never buy another game from SSG again. I have read Marks blurb and my CDs are configured as they need to be according to him.

We believe this to be a copy protection issue. SSG has no control over copy protection - Matrix is responsible for that side of things.

We have an alternative EXE for the copy protection issue available in our downloads section.
That should fix your problem.

No I haven't yet Mark. I spent all last night reinstalling and updating the programs I had to remove to install KP. I'll try it tonight or tomorrow.

Yes Mark, I did download that and it does now start. I'll see what happens now.
