Download Fault

I ve downloaded both 4.5 patch and 4.5 full game, the patch reads as 8,753 kb and the full 4.5 reads as 352,258 kbs. Both downloaded from the Matrix site and both downloaded using Gozilla and finished at 100% finished. A message on the forum however repor 360,712,066 and 8,970,240.
The problem is whenever I double click the programmes to update to 4.5 it flashes for a second then reverts to the windows screen again.
I have a 1,000 MHZ athlon, 384 MB ram, a geforce 2 mx card and 60 Gigs of hard drive.
The loaded game plays fine , but I cant update to 4.5
I ve tried to download the 4.5 again and it comes out the same size slightly smaller as stated
Any ideas

Wow...you got a system I dream of....but I don't have a answer....but maybe one of the Guru's might...sorry...

If you installed the 4.5 full game, then you don't need to install the 4.5 patch. I also downloaded the 4.5 full ver. and it was 352,358kbs also. I installed it and it seems to work without any problems. Are you having problems with the game running or just with the upgrade?

The 4.4 version installed seems to work fine, but Im afraid to uninstall 4.4. and install the 353 MB 4.5 version in case it dosnt actually install. I ve tried installing the 4.5 patch and the 4.5 full version on my second hard drive(without uninstalling the 4.4 already loaded), but when I try to install them, the install screen fashes for a fraction of a second then reverts to windows.
I m stumped

I'm evidently having _similar_ problems getting the entire game file downloaded. It seems to have completed just fine, but when I go to install the program, it asks me for disk #2.
The file size is only 36MB - which is likely the problem - but I don't know what to do about it. It's not practical to sit and watch the download on a 56k modem - so I don't really know what's going on when it "finishes" the download at 3 o'clock in the morning.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

maclagcs : try to use getright or gozilla to resume your download.
Pict : it's strange you managed to install 4.4 and not 4.5...
As for the size, it's just because a kb is 1024 bytes and not 1000, so if you download 360,712,066 bytes it's 352,257.88 kb. Therefore your download should be complete.
What OS do you have ?

Why don't you copy the entire Matrix folder with 4.4 ver to your other hard drive. Then try the 4.5 patch on the second one. That way if something screws up, you still have the orginal. Be sure that you have the right location entered when the install asks for it. Use the browse button and direct it to the Main Matrix folder, not to the SPWAW subfolder.
