Turn sequence?

I must admit that I really know very little about this game except that Frank created it, Matrix is refining it, it's Napoleonic, and I am buying it as soon as I can. I am curious about how the turns work though. Is it IGO-UGO or WEGO? I would also like to get some idea on the length of the full campaign scenario. Any other basic details would also be appreciated as well. Also, how many turns in the full campaign and do the turns represent days or weeks?

Arinvald,
CLGA 1805-1809 uses a daily turn-based WEGO system. The campaigns can last for about 90 turns, or about 3 months, with 30-day mini-campaign alternatives. There are several scenarios each for 1805 & 1809, including some interesting what-if scenarios. The PBEM works nicely and gives neither player an advantage as each player plots movement orders and then clicks to continue and that's when stuff happens. Combat is excellent because neither player can see their combat results before sending off the file. It truly is "pins&needles" time when clicking the button to continue. While each turn may take a few sends when combat is happening, when combat isn't happening the turns flow quickly.

Thanks Eric; man this game sounds sweet. I agree, with a computer, there is no other way than WEGO.[&o]
