Attack Range of non-artillery units

How can I see the maximum firing range of non-artillery/mortar units? For artillery/mortars you can toggle the "B" key for min/max firing range. Is there an equivalent for all other units? Obviously mimimum range is irrelevant for such units, but maximum range circles would be very useful and eliminate a lot of guesswork when making plans.

Some thoughts:
(1) You could try the [F]ire command to get a range circle.
(2) You could buy the strategy guide when it comes out (I think it will have that info), but you should double check with Panther.
(3) You could you the scenario editor and look up equipment range data in it.

Personally, I don't worry about it too much as line units will need to close with the enemy in defense or on the attack to be effective; with the exception of armor. (Also, I have a gut feel for some of this from having played Combat Mission.)

Thanks. I didn't know about the F command bringing up a range circle. I've only played the 1st tutorial and didn't see anything in manual for "range".

Yeh, the Fire ( F ) command will show you the max APer and AArm range for a unit.

Thank you.
Would the following be correct?:
F key: inner ring shows max AArm range; outer ring shows max APer range?

I believe that each ring has it's own unique color. Although without checking, I don't recall what they are.
