First Net Game with Coyote27

I had my first net game with Coyote27 yesterday. At first we tried to have a game using 500-ton squads... except something odd happened at my end that caused ToS:WS to crash to death. Coyote27 guessed that it may have been caused by programs running in the background, like ICQ... When we tried to resume the game by loading it, we got stuck with blank menus on both ends. It seems that the game thinks there's an AI involved, because when I pressed f2, it said disabled during AI turn.
Too bad, the game looked promising. I was looking forward to seeing someone else use my titan-AT design against me. Coyote27 got a Witch's Lights, which is basically the evolution of the Will o' Wisp into the Light Class.
So, instead, we tried to do a quick one on one duel. I got an Instigator, he got a Crossbow. Terrain was bad, although I had enough places to hide, I think I might have chosen to take the wrong path because it allowed Coyote27 to slowly shave off my AP using his long range missiles. All I could hit back with was my EMP. I got a couple of lucky shots wherein I hit his cockpit and engine with the EMP. That didn't help much, though, because by the time I got in range for my BRG's, I got my RT in red. The RT was hosting the Engine, as well. I managed to make him fall over a few times, but it didn't take long for him to finally destroy my RT.
It was a good game... I lost, but was very fun. I actually let out a loud "WAHA!" when i hit his engine with the EMP...
I sure wish my titan had jump ports... could've helped a lot.
