First of all, hello to everyone!
Just got my copy of Korsun Pocket. What can I say? This is a trully marvellous game! I just love board wargames so this is a great gift for me!
But now I have a question...
It seems that only one particular unit can be engaged in combat? Then all the strategy point is useless... What if I, for instance, want to tear apart "that" Infantry division with 5 tank units? How can I do that? Or don't I understand something?

Oh... And please tell me whether it is better to start with the "large" manual (the detailed one)
or the quick one?

One unit initiates the attack. After you get the battle display, click the MAX button. This will select ALL available ground and support units to attack the hex. You can then click your own troops and select/deselect them in order to achieve desired odds. You can do this with adjacent ground units and any support units that are in range. Press RESET to deselect all.

Start with the small manual, as that is the tutorial which will introduce the basic concepts. Have the main manual ready for reference and read it thoroughly after playing a couple of sample battles.
