Canadian forces vs German at the Reichwald. Operation Veritable. Lots of cool stuff here, Buffalo's, Sturm Tigers, Fallschirmjager's, Ram Kangaroos, and Crocodiles. Mini Island hopping and new and different tactical situation's for all to enjoy![:)] What more could you ask for??[:D]

We should have an MC that is seen through the eyes of the Russians.
Yes, I would like to see an MC based on the Italian campaign, (as was stated in another thread) as well as an MC with Patton and the 3rd Army's drive through France and Germany, but we have not had an opportunity to play a campaign from a Russian perspective.
Their role and sacrifice in the history of WW2 deserves nothing less!

I second the rusian front thing.Rusian steel is ok,i guess but i would rather see a full blown Mc of the reds.Nice job Kg with the poll.

You could count me in on this Kevin, as I did extensive researches on the Rhineland (Veritable, Blockbuster, Grenade) battles in the past. That includes checking the former battlefields, as they´re all pretty close to my home town Dusseldorf.[8D]

Finns is a good idea, but also a may/june 40 campaign with Germans against Dutch, Belgians, Frenchs and Brits.

I voted Canadians, but would vote British just as easily.

A MC in Italy would be fine, from Salerno to the fall of Rome, with fights around Cassino.

J vote for the Italians!
J wish to see a Mc with the italians in North Africa ( Graziani's offensive ) or also in Spain. Some interests for italian campaign in Greece, with all the battles, from offensive of Alpini division "Julia" to the defense of Tepeleni.

I voted for the Australians as they offer a wide and varied range of experiences. The three Australian divisions (6th, 7th and 9th) had varied histories but essentually started with North Africa (Bardia/Trobuk) against the Italians, then on to Greece, Crete and back to North Africa for El Alamain against the Germans. There was also a campain against the Vichy French in there as well. After that they were transferred to the Pacific for Milne Bay, Kokoda, Buna (the New Guinea campaigns). After that they were employed in the recapture of the Dutch East Indies/Borneo area and under took amphibious operations as part of these campaigns. All in all you will have fought all three axis forces and will have fought beside the British, Indians, South Africians, Greeks and US Army.
If you wanted alternative threads in the manner of Screaming Eagles, you could possibly offer to recreate the Kiwis (New Zealanders) who remained in Europe to take part in the Sicily/Italian campaigns or recreate one the Pacific based units.
On the down side there is not a great variation of unit types you can use and the campaign will not contain a lot of "Cool" units. The ANZAC forces were not very armor heavy though the Cavalry regiments (organic to the Aust infantry divisions) acquired small numbers local vehicles when necessary. There were three Armoured divisions equipped with Lee/Grants for home defence but they were never deployed. On the up side, some interesting specialised armour was starting to appear toward the end of the war (Frog flame thrower, Hedgehog 60kg Mortar Tank, Dozers etc)

I forgot to mentiobn the n. africa, europe, pacific part in my email!!!!
AUSSIES ALL THE WAY!!! MY great uncle was a desert rat. and my great grandpa in a trench in 1917. Also my Granpa fought along side the aussies in Java and new Guinea.
