Scenario and Map Maker Error

I've tried both several times. Whenever Im in either I get a windows "fatal error" message and the applications closes and then knocks me back to desktop. Prior to the patch this this same thing happened.
My actual games run fine, never a ctd or any other problems.

Tactics,
could you provide some more information? First, a dxdiag report on your system (see the sticky thread in this forum for instructions). Second, could you elaborate on what happens when you get the error? Does it happen as soon as you click on the shortcut for the MapMaker/ScenMaker? Does the program open and then crash? Does it happen when you try to open a file? A screenshot of the error message might also help.

It must have been on my side, something wonky going on with the PC. I spent about an hour goofing around with both editors and nothing bad happened.
