Just stumbled over this site by chance, looks awesome, downloading the BBBIIIIIG package right now, can't wait to try it out. So tell me, what should I expect? What's this all about?

How do you describe the best tactical WWII combat game I have ever seen in 10 words or less....
It's best that you decide for yourself so fully explore the Matrix site, checkout Tankheads (

http://www.fprado.com/armorsite) websites (Bonzos site will be back up soon). Register yourself on the Combat Command (
http://www.matrixgames.com/CombatCommand/index.asp) so you can play against the friendliest and most knowlegable people you are likely to met.
That is the magic that is Steel Panthers World at War.

Welcome aboard Kepler!!
With SPWaW you can re-live any battle from 1930 to 1949. If the scenario or campaign hasn't been created - you can create it yourself!! A Campaign is a series of scenarios that are connected and how you do in each battle determines were you go next - Or you can start a war as the country you want with the forces you want - and see how you do!!
Oh ya - and hopefully later this year they will come out with SP:MW (Modern War) to cover all the battles up to the present time.

These guys just walk in and say voluntarely give me a war... And bad we if they ain't getting it... Warms a heart like flamm to know that nobody is alone... all the loners have SPWAW in these days I'll suppose...get a barkin dog to walk you out once and a while...its only way to find out soon..

If you have any shred of interest in tactical
military history, you are in for the ride of your life. Steep learning curve for the unfamiliar, but well worth the time spent.
