I had posted this way back when it first come out and the other players said they did not have this problem.
During a long playing game my hard drive will start making a bunch of noise and the game will crash.
Now this is my second computer and it has done this on both.
I have a highend system so I know it is not the memory or the harddrive at fault.
I have nothing running in the background.
I do run the eyecandy and graphics while playing.
I am a lil worried that this is something that may git carried over to the WITP big game.
If there is something I can do so you can check into this please let me know.

One thought that has occured to me is that maybe I have a defective cd.

It could well be a defective CD, and if that is the case Im not sure what you would need to do[&:]. If it has happened on two separate computers then it is most probably not the hardware. I gather the CD drives are diferent?
