Tech, defective CD-ROM drives.

Hi,

I've a technical question involving the installation of Kornsun Pocket on my laptop. Basicly it comes down to 'I can install but not play'.

Here are the details:
I have a laptop with Windows NT2000, a broken CD-ROM drive and a CD-ROM drive on USB. (Specialy bought for the game.) When I put 'Korsun Pocket' in de USB drive it starts and I can install the game. But when I want to play the game, it comes with a remark like 'You must put de CD in your drive...', well, it is!

After fiddeling around with the system I was able to turn off the defective CD-ROM drive in NT2000. (physically removing the drive is *not* an option.) Now I'm able to start the game but only as administrator, which is not a good idea from the perspectives of the OS. I still can't play on an ordinary users account.

Can someone of you all advise me on this subject? What must I do to play Korsun Pocket with my user account?

Question to Matrixgames:
Is it possible to use the game on *any* CD-ROM drive in stead of the *first* CD-ROM drive it finds?

Thanks in advanve!

Andre Steenveld.
