Ah, that works just fine. I hope David gets around to updating all the links that should point to it. I'm impressed with it so far though.

Crikey, there are some of my old scenarios still in V2.3 format. You've embarrassed me into updating them now. There's a job for the upcoming long weekend.

Looks very good to me David. I would only recommend a comment area for the map makers to add if the entry/retreat flags are on the maps. Makes it a whole lot easier for some pbem/on-line players. It isn't easy getting them on the map all to often.

I am glad that Matrix now has the scenario/map depot in house. I am quite pleased to say the least. My only suggestion is to try and get people who download the scenarios to rate it after they have played it. Give the person who did the scenario a pat on the back or cordially let him/her know what you feel needs improvement.

I don't know about needing a rating system. If you like a scenario, a personal email to the designer goes a lot further as a pat on the back. Rating or correcting the scenarios in public might intimidate the newer designer into not posting his work, which would be a loss to us all. As the goal is to share rather than compete, rating might be counterproductive.

For some reason, the link to the depot in the above messages sends me to 404 land (page not found).

I guess I should have been more specific in my last post. I didn't mean a rating system that would lead to competition or anything of the like. Just something that would let the person who has invested so much time and effort into a scenario that you thank him/her for their work. I agree that there is no need to foster a mine was better than your attitude.

Hi, Yes no rating system just feedback to designer. You can crush his spirt in private instead of in public. (Just ask mean old Tankhead why Mogami does not draw "stupid 1 grade comic strip" anymore but at least he did not make a public hazing of me. (if you don't count phone calls at 3am laughing and a full page add in the local newspaper public or hazing. After he returned my "Stooges over Europe" scenario (about silly airborne attack on Germany in 44 he said It had already been done and I should think of my own ideas instead of stealing (I think he said it was a Monty Python skit)
Next he rejected "The Bowling Alley" about Stalingrad fight over who was going to use the Lanes on Tuesday night league.
My rather long winded point is without these things being private I no doubt would not have continued work on My soon to be finished Magnum Opus "Godzilla versus the 1st Marine Division" Keep it private if any of this ever got out I would not be able to post here anymore (without changeing my name to Kitikami)

Hi, I don't know about campaign but the next battle I have for Godzilla he teams up with "Velveta" and the "Beast who would not let it alone" and they go watch super Bowel.
The fun starts soon enough (since Godzilla and Veleveta are big time Saints Fans (they hate Jets)..............
