A Very "Special Naval Landing Force"

It's April 1943, the empire is under attack. A small convoy forms at Truk to carry some replacement units to one of the soon to be forward bases. Elements of the 21st Naval Garrison load on one of the transports normally. The other two transports load...1st Marine Raider Battalion(???)
Actually when I form a new task force (to deliver the wayward lads back to their mothers' doorstep of course) those two APs show no troops aboard.
Similar occurences have happened before though it seems that the transports have previously favored the 8th Area Army HQ or some other HQ not actually present at the base.

I was sorta wondering if anybody else has experienced this sort of thing and whether or not such a "special" SNLF actually appeared at one of their bases? Could be somewhat disconcerting.

BTW: I accidentally hit return right after typing the title and the text area turned pink...can't seem to change it back. Is it still pink?

Happens in my games now and then, too. Annoying, but hardly a game-stopper. As you say, simply putting the affected ships into a new TF usually solves the problem. Never saw enemy troops riding stowaway and showing up at my bases.

Its happened to me and Condor both in our game. I had a HQ all of a sudden show up on one of his APDs and he had a Seabee unit show up on my barges. We just unloaded the units in a neutral hex and let the other pick it up.
