Gents,
I am planning to purchase MCSE but I noticed that the campaign is only available as "digital download". I am not sure what does it mean? I never got a game as download. can anyone tell me how is the procedure? is it reliable or fast? and do we also receive spwaw with the purchase?

After you've placed your order you'll get a password and instructions how to proceed with the download. Afaik, as I haven't used this option. Reliable, I'd say yes as what complaints I've seen are not about the download but the optional (and extra cost) backup Cd you can order at the same time. As for fast, well, how fast is your internet connection? The download size is 60 megs or thereabout. And no, you do not get SPWAW with the purchase.

Firstly there is a CD on Demand option. So if you don't trust the download, you can get the game on CD for $10 more.

Anyway, I got SE via download without any trouble. Since it is a 100meg download, I would suggest some sort of broadband connection. Once you place the order you will have 30 days to complete the download. I don't know if the Matrix server will cooperate with download managers on this. If download managers work even dial-up connections can get the MCs, but I don't know if they do. After you place your order, you will also get an email with a product key in it. Yep, they have a double lock system. Write down the key or save it in a text file.

Next go to http://www.spwaw.com/phpBB2/files/mc-se_patch01.zip, for the patch to a small bug that happens at the end of the Bulge sometimes.

I purchased the game and managed to dowload it in 20 minutes.
