I am running Windows ME and I'm sure i meet all the games requirements, but I'm still having probs.
I double-click on the Desk-top icon and i get the first screen fine, but when i click on the play game link, i get a big black screen.
I can hear the music fine, but i cannot see anything.
Any body know whats up?

Try to disable the intro. Edit the file tcc.cfg in data/configs folder. There should be a line like
intro_at_all = yes
at the bottom. Set it to
intro_at_all = no
and report.
You are the first to report this problem.

Windows ME?
Seriously?
Upgrade to a better OS.
Sorry.
Until then, make sure your Direct X is up to date, and all your video and sound card drivers are also up to date.
If that does not work, we'll try something else.
Unfortunately, ME is a buggy worthless, imcompatible, piece of dung. As such, this probably isn't the first game you've had problems with, and certainly won't be the last.

Thanks Iskandar.
I swapped to Windows XP, and got a new video card.
Now its working.
Thanks again for the help.

heh, glad it is working.
XP is a good way to go, it works REALLY well for all new games and apps.
As for the video card, um, I suggested updating the DRIVERS, the software that runs the card, not the card itself.
However, updating the video card by default means new drivers, so I guess it comes to the same thing.
(side note: while I was being somewhat sarcastic about ME, my point still stands. Anyone out there who reads this and is runnng ME NEEDS to update. Now. Microsoft released ME just to shut up the whiners who got tired of waiting for 2000 and XP. As such it was a rushed update of 98. A rushed, incredibly BUGGY update of 98.
Xp is now out, upgrading to that is relatively cheap. Or, step back to 98 (or even 95) if you happen to be broke or computer illiterate (Xp does require a slight knowledge of what you are doing.))
