Glows where waht HOW and when?

OK maybe exagerated the titles how are glows done in starshatter ? could someone point me to a tutorial or tell me quickly thanks[8|]
By 'glows' do you mean luminous (sp?) polys? If so, you can go to magic, select polys and go to modify>poly (i think, havent used magic in months) and then check off (one or more) checkboxes for luminosity (sp?) depending on what you need glowing.
If I'm wrong, I apologize and please correct me.
