Greetings, all
Just a quick note to let you know that I have finished the railroad overlays I've been working on. The file is available at The Bunker (link from my signature banner).
These overlays work in conjunction with the new railroad tiles I put together earlier. They help clean up those annoying odd railroad intersections.

Great work Flash, but personally i don´t like oversized graphics. Remember, railroad tracks almost filling a SPWAW hex are 30 to 40 yards wide![X(] Unfortunately the same disease has befallen the SP2WW2 game lately.[8|]
For those who dont´care: Grab it![8D]

Everything is a compromise, Harry. How about those large wooden buildings, filling up a 50x50 meter hex? I agree, most of the graphics are oversized for the scale...but I saw somewhere a discussion about the possibility that the original graphic SHP files were designed for a 25mm game scale, and have never been downsized to 50mm scale. If true, it would explain why things look so much bigger than they should.
For those who play with the default icon setting, these rails will look more correct under your trains than the original railroads.

Flashfyre, I'm using these, and in a generated long campaign map they look pretty cool. If I have a unit sitting on a RR bridge over a stream/gully and artillery or mortars start firing on it, it gives me the "heebie jeebies". "Get off the bridge!" [X(]

Yeah, agree. It´s all a big compromise.[:(] Personally I play with icon size 3 (preferences menu) so unit icons are a lil better to scale than default (XXX) icons. All a matter of preference at last.[8D] However, you did great work![:)]

I personnally like the oversized tanks etc. just because they are easier to see, but really like the ability to change their size. It has always bugged me about the huge houses though...lol
Small factor for such a great game!
