Should these units be attached to Napolean?

In the Crisis on the Danube Scenario, Napolean is frozen at Ulm for a few turns while Davout and Lefebvre take the brunt of the Austrians initail assault....When Napolean is finally freed to move, the following units are with him at Ulm:
Nansouty
Rouyer
Gency
Bruyer
Engineer Unit
All of these units have Napolean listed as their superior commander, yet when I set Napleon's initial objective hex (Munich), these units remain behind while he moves towards his objective....they are not in detached mode so I'm wondering, should not these units move with Napolean?....am I missing a step in this procedure?

Im pretty certain they are reserve troops that you can add to a corp (notice the * in the unit icon where corp number usually is.
maybe if you attach Nap to a corp they will assign themselves to that corp?

Thanks DM...I attached the reserves to one of the advance line Corp Commanders and they went on their merry way...seem odd though that they could not have hitched a ride with Nappy....

I am playing the same scenario (I think), certainly the same units have appeared at Ulm. But Napoleon has yet to arrive in theatre and so his counter is still frozen.
I have transferred the HQ of each of these units to various Corps and they seem to operate fine on this basis.
Nansouty has been assigned to the Guard
Rouyer to Lefebvre's Bavarian Corps along with Bruyer as the Bavarians have no cavalry of thier own.
Gency has been assigned to Lannes
If you don't want to do that you can just detach them and they will move as independant divisions.
Gency for instance is guarding my depot at Donauworth as he is severely under-strength.
