Just noticed a few units in a UV scenario I'm playing where a junior officer is leading the unit even though there is a higher rank in the unit. These junior officers leading the unit are in units that have lost the at start commander & have been in charge for some time. Just a minor thing but to us anal rententive people out there, the promotion aspect of UV seems to be broken. I would think that since alot of code probably came out of BTR it should work where if a Major is leading a unit & is lost the next turn or 2, a new pilot would be promoted to that rank to lead the unit. I hope this is fixed in WITP [&o]

I think are some serious gameplay issues that need to be resolved first.

A Captain leading a squadron with a Major present is minor compared to 3000+ AP of troops disappearing due to a bug IMHO.

you can assign your own leaders in WitP.

The bug denisonh mentions I havent seen in either UV or WitP
