Ordered HTTR last night from UK.

Whats the expected delivery time and how adequate is the manual? Do you need the strategy guide to master this game?

(1) No idea on delivery.

(2) The manual is pretty comprehensive, but the print font is small and images are small b/w. One of the patches includes a PDF of the manual which in terms of font size/color is much better.

(4) The strategy guide goes beyond #3 and has a very rich historical section.

I purchased HTTR last week in the UK and received the game in just under 24 hours. This is most likely exceptional, but hopefully would mean that you should get it in little more than several days. As for the strategy guide, I would consider myself a somewhat better than novice wargamer, and found it a well worthwhile purchase. All the nuts and bolts are in the game manual, and following the 2 tutorials certainly gives a good flavour of the thinking required to plan moves etc. The strategy guide gives good info for the beginner and experienced player alike, and gives a lot of usefull hints and tips to enhance gameplay. Not a necessary purchase, but well worth it imho!
