Well, I'm planning on downloading the game as soon as it's available. The thing is, I never played UV. Heck, I've never even played a turn-based strategy game before. [X(]

Is there anyone else out there with the same complete and total lack of skill? If not.. be gentle with me.

In any case, I'd like to go ahead and get an opponent picked out for a PBEM game. Yes, it's early, but I'll get in before the rush.

So, what side would you want?
Reason is, I won't be ready too PBEM as Japan until I have practiced a little, on the other hand, the allies just have to retreat for the first few months, so that's easy to do (I hope)

I'm working the same logic as you - probably the Allies, since (hopefully) all I have to do is scream "Run away! Run away!"

But. I expect to spend a while learning the game after I get it, anyways. (A few days with the AI, I bet.) So maybe - maybe - I might be able to learn how to run the Japanese. Or, if I get an opponent, we might just start with a small scenario (no production).

Well.. well poop. [:'(] Oh well.

my suggestion is spend some time learning the game, it will make that PBEM experience so much more enjoyable
