Thank you David ! :)

This is funny : everyone waits for the release of another game and you bring us this one ! You always surprise us, good one !

I will download this one tonight when I am at home, I really do hope that this is more stable as I had really a tough time playing more then 5 turns in a row without a CTD.

Thank you for your effort !

SPWAW has always been very stable. Your instability problem probably has to do with a hardware incompatibility or some simple issue. I'm sure it could be fixed easily if you visit the SPWAW Forum for help.

Just thought I'd point that out since I didn't want casual visitors to think SPWAW is anything but one of the best turn based WWII games you can have for free or paid for.

In some ways I hate you guys. My wife wants me to work in the yard when I go on vacation next week and you have WitP and Starshatter coming out at the same time. And now I read about this.

Now I need to figure out ways to avoid yardwork and not get killed for playing computer games. Thanks a lot.

Just to make it clear : I am NOT a casual visitor. Since you dont know me, let me introduce myself : I was a member of WBR back in the 90's and the group of Wild Bill Wilder designed and developed tons of scenarios for the entire SP series. I worked as a tester for 2 years before Matrix games was founded...........and I had the CTD on 3 different machines all with different MB's, Sound and GFX....since I build PC's on myself and for friends/family, I am pretty sure what I do about them ;)

anyway, great game !!! AND I can save the game after each turn( what good testers tend to do so ) so whats the matter

I didn't say YOU were a casual visitor. Your post could lead others (i.e. casual visitors) to believe the game is unstable in general and thus they might decide not to try the game. Your problems are an exception to the rule that the game is very stable. I wanted others to know that.

Sorry for any confusion I caused in trying to clarify your first post.

Steel Panther WAW General Edition is only available via download with the option to by a CD on demand. No CD available to be ordered for people with unreliable service. Hope it will be availble to us "others" later. You can get a CD on demand from Matrix but it will cost $10.00 more than the $69.99 game price.

That´s what the "CD on demand" is for.

Haha, I think we got that system now. It's been pouring for days...

It's official; so far, this is the coldest summer since 1928. Not the rainiest, 1998 still claim that prize, but it sure isn't bbq weather. The sea is actually warmer than the air. And it's the NORTH SEA, if you get my point...

Greenhouse effect my behind. [:'(]

Actually, and while only a theory, its thought it might be possiable a warming up will bring an ice age not necessary the caps melting and all... Theory is warmer seas = more evaporation = more rain = more snow at poles and = caps expanding = Hi Ice age [:D]

guess so, too.

and i´m also shure there were much accidents on the autobahns, i mean in these weather conditions much the germans still drive much too fast. i was quite anxious of "aquaplaning"

there was a slogan in germany:

"freie fahrt für freie bürger"
