Although many of you already know this, here's the official announcement for the forum.
StarShatter is available for digital download and/or CD delivery through our online store. Please click on the Store link in the top bar and choose the region of the world that corresponds to you. Thanks for all your interest and enthusiasm. Enjoy!

If I choose to buy this online, will I be able to save it on a CD? I'm not looking to spend an extra $10.

Yes you´re allowed to brun a backup copy for personal use (only).

If there is anyway for the link at
www.starshatter.com , old forums to send to the new forums I think that would help a lot. It took me a few hours to find the forums here.

Actually, there was a link, but it may not have been so obvious. I've made it much more easy to spot now.
