Game does not recognize cd key(serial #?)

When I tried to install my first DD of Starshatter I received a CRC error and messge that the data was corrupt. So I downloaded the program again. This time I received no errors during install. However, when I attempt to run the program I am informed that my CD Key is incorrect and must re-install. I have a bad feeling this is related to the Fatal Error 772 issue I experienced with WitP as they both appear to involve checking the serial number.
Windows ME (which I am really beginning to hate)
Athlon 1.1 ghz
256mb RAM
Geforce2 64mb
SBLive!
DX9.0b
Please help!

Did you include the dashes in the key?

I did indeed include the dashes in the key, and double-checked the numbers against the ones in the email I recieved.

Likewise here, same error.
Something like - "Starshattered was not installed properly. Invalid CDKEY."
When I start Starshatter from in the Starshatter Game menu screen, Start menu or the Stars.exe file in the install dir. I have installed three time with the same result
I sent you an email with Name, SN# and order number
I took off work tomorrow just to play Starshatter, sure hope I get a fix by then.

This problem should be fixed. Just download the patch in the top thread in this forum, apply it and you should be good to go. Please let us know if it works for you. Thanks.
