bad patch

I was having the ctd with the tutorial. I installed the patch, and the machine started a computer only game against itself with the setting on head to head. This repeated for all the settings EXCEPT computer only, which allowed head to head.

This was repeatable for the two other scenarios I tested this on.

I uninstalled the entire thing, and powered down.

Reinstalled the original and the patch, and am still getting the same behavior.

This is damn frustrating.

Which patch did you put in first? The registration patch or the 772 fix patch? You need to put in the 772 fix patch first, THEN the registration patch. If you do it the other way around you'll cause problems... Hope that helps

I was wondering the same thing. After I installed the patch the computer plays out a turn before I can do anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled without the patch and now it does not do it. Plus the CTD that I would get when scrolling thru ships in a TF no longer happens. Lets just say I am going to play without this patch from now on until the next one. Wierd

If Historical first turn is set to on, the first turn in any scenario will be played out by the computer.Make sure you have this switched to off if you want to play your first turn.
