A little something Id like to see.....

Something I would love to see is how a unti performed at the end of the game.

Its total confirmed Kills and maybe a % score on how well the units commander performed.

This would add a lot to my enjoyment of the game especially at the end of a scenario to asses my individual units performance. When Ive seen a unit defend a vital road etc and lose 100 men out of 130 destroying two units and still holding on at the end of a game, I feel proud in a strange kind of way. To see the units commitment rewarded somehow and a breakdown of how they did during the game would top it off for me.

Maybe even if a unit performed well give out medals. I.E if a coy did exceptionally well through the scenario it could be awarded one VC and two MM. So you get the feeling that two troopers should upmost courage.

I know its only superficial but would really add some more atmosphere and not leave a little anti climax after the battle. Checking out each unit at the end.....

Also the unit counters are nice but I would love it if they were similar to KP or BiN so you can see the unit emblem on it.

Definitely second that proposal. In CM series, they introduced this feature, allows you to analyse effectiveness of units and equipment at the end of a game.

I agree with this too - it would help me improve my gameplay a bit. What are the other ways of defining the effectiveness of a unit. The drop in enemy counter troop strength? I always feel like the enemy's strength goes up and down based on intel rather than actual impact of my attacks or defences.

There's a bit of both. The enemy's strength and effectiveness are affected by your operations, but of course if you only have very poor intel on the enemy that's very hard to gauge. As indeed it would be in real life - look at all the intel reports prior to Market Garden talking about the defeated German Army [:)].

As far as beefing up the AAR goes, it's certainly on the wishlist, but my (unqualified) understanding is that there would be a huge amount of work required.
