More Bugs! Auto Convey, etc.

Playing 42a Scenario, Allied vs Jap AI, Historical Difficulty

1. Auto Supply Convoy to Johnson Island heads to emplty hex off Japanese Cost!!??

2. Confirm transfer of aircraft from U.S. CV with 99 damage.

3. With CPU control of SE Asia, checked air units after 14 days. Most chinese air set to Naval/Rest or Naval/Air out of range of any naval targets. RAF Hurricanes in Burma set to NAVAL/REST out of range of any possible naval targets (a base full, 5 units).

4. Possible bug with subs (computer control of all subs on) after about 29 turns. Slowly accumulating stationary subs at Pearl. Up to about 5 now, checked thier ID, its the same ones not moving or docking. Could they be guarding the harbor??? After they reach 5 the display of ships at the begining of Allied turn at Pearl Bugged. Shows only the non subs in lower display (below map) until I click on the harbor....then shows all.

5. Question. Game runs very slow [AMD Athalon XP1700, Windows 2000 Professional, Completely Patched (as is sound card)] during Ship Training Steps and a few other points. Is this normal.

Thanks Matrix...I love the game. AI OK so far.....Entire Japanese Navy at PM on non historical play. With 2CVs in SWP and 3 at Pearl I'm staying away from the "death star" Japanese CVs.

Would at least like some response on an Auto Supply Convoy forming up and reporting its going to Johnson Island all the while secretly sailing to Japanese Home Islands. What is the commander thinking? He was almost to Tokyo before I noticed him.

The training ship crews is the longest 'stage' on my system as well (Athlon xp3200), about 10 secs. But I dont find it so slow, maybe its win2k? After all, its not intended as a gaming system.

I am not seeing Chandpur in the auto convoy list of bases (=allied). It has a port value of 8 at the start of the grand scenario.

Shouldn't it be there?
