Is Karachi a start point like the manual says? I see San Francisco sending them but Karachi does not. I have turned the bases on that need support in their AO and have a ton of AK's in Karachi on Auto convoy status. Alo noticed that you can make Karachi a port in need with the on/off button where as San Fran stays grayed out. Could that be the problem? Maybe the game thinks it is a reciever and not the port of embarkation.

I noticed that too, before I turned auto-convoy completely off.

Similarly in Scen 15, I have collected AKs, tankers and escorts at Karachi yet not a single auto-convoy has been generated there. San Francisco meanwhile happily uses every ship I can throw at it.

Has anyone seen an auto-convoy out of Karachi?

I turned the on/off for auto convoy to on...(I know its to recieve convoys), and Karachi started sending them just like San Fran. So maybe its just a minor bug.

Tried that - Karachi is turned on for auto-convoys and still nothing happens.

One thing I've noticed about auto convoys sent from SF, is that sometimes they disband after unloading at port. Not sure why this happens, database corruption kinda thing like subs that disappeared in UV from time to time?
As to Karachi none have been sent from there in my current game but in another scenario I used just to tool around & get a feel before tackling the "Full Monte" they did, so it may be that ports closer to Karachi just don't need enough to trigger an auto convoy from there.

No problems here with auto-convoys from Karachi - playing the big scenario.....
