A lot will be happening for this game in the near future For example, the new equipment file adds lots of new units including jets, warthogs, stealth aircraft, etc. There are plans to create new maps and campaigns that cover the Korean, Vietnam and Middle East wars. . . So stay tuned and enjoy the game. . .

Have fun!

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

If anyone is looking for a modern land/air game, this is the game. The interface is very sleek and intuitive. Add in the new equipment file and sounds, and this game is a lot of fun.

There is also a WWII mod for People's General: you can download it at the site mentioned above. This mod allows you to play all the stock campaigns of Panzer General II in People's General.

Have fun!

Anyone know if it's legal to download this game, or is this another warez copy? This is a sincere question, I'm not trolling, I'd like your opinion. I guess I'm wondering if the developer has released it for free download.

I believe it is classed more or less as 'abandonware', meaning that while it is more than likely technically illegal to download and install the game, it is assumed by the user that since the company itself no longer sells/supports the game and it is extremely difficult to find in stores anymore, it is fair game. It's pretty much a moral question on whether you feel it is OK or not.
