My CTD Issues

Hi all,
Well i've finally got the beast uploaded on my PC.
I have had a couple of issues/CTD's since installation. I assume they are like everyone else's but I thought i'd post them for the designers to see:
N.B. I have not been able to install v1.1 patch yet!!
1. Tutorial - Whenever look at Allied Ship in detail CTD. Only happens in Tutorial though.
2. Combat screen - Whenever combat occurs - be it air or surface or sub I get a CTD as the combat is about to start. This has happened in Full campaign, Marianas and Tutorial. I assume this is the 'sound CTD' people have since if I change sound file to NOSOUND the game works fine with no crashes in combat screens.
3. In Tutorial - Whenever combact occurs involving Allied ships - no Allied Ship Graphics are displayed on screen. Hope that makes sense. Only in Tutorial AFAIK.
Here are my specs:
Presario S4700UK
AMD Athlon XP3200+ 2.2Gh
1GB RAM
120GB HD
ATI Radeon 9600Pro 128MB
Realtek AC 97 Sound Solution (whatever that is!)
Any ideas?
Regards,
Steven
