Ground units upgrading whilst on transport, and amusing results.

Hi,
There's an interesting issue I just ran into regarding units upgrading whilst on a transport.

I moved the 5th Dutch Naval Base Force from its home in Teloektetoeng on board a single AP with an AVD escorting it up to my new Indian HQ of Madras.

It arrived on the 12th Feb 1942, and when I went to tell it to unload I noticed that the load value had jumped massively.

Turns out it now has 2 150mm CD Guns, which are immobile. These appear to have replaced the 120mm CD Guns it starts with, and which it must have had when I loaded it in early Feb.

Thing is it is still on the boat!

With the amount of weight in it the AP should be sinking without any help from enemy LBA :)

I have a save with the transport docked and ready to unload at Madras if needed, but not one before that.

I saw the exact same thing last night! I think it might have been the 5th as well, except I took mine to Gili Gili. I was wondering why the transport was reading 60K+ load, then noticed after one turn of unloading several huge CD guns (with * next to them) on Gili Gili! Not that I'm complaining[:'(]

Just double-checked, it was the 7th DNF for me, they offloaded two 155 CD* guns (one damaged) at Gili Gili, but otherwise appear to be normal. Strange.

What's the problem. If a skipper finds a couple of 150 mm Coastal Defence guns floating around in the Tasman Sea...of course he would stop to pick them up.
