I hardly dount this is the first time the question has been raised, but in light of recent comments I heard, which are no better than rumor, so I am taking them as nothing better than rumor.

What exactly is the speculated system specs for the game?

I say "speculated" on purpose.

I am not asking for a rigid response.

But I am waiting patiently for this game.

Although, what I was told, makes me wonder.

Can any of the testing/development team tell us what they are at least using to test the game on?

If the game exceeds my machine, I am going to be sad, but I am also just going to move on.

2004 christmas season has a few titles already lined up that I expect to be able to run. The last thing I want to do, is expend energies hoping for a game I won't be running.

I have an 800 celeron 256 meg of Ram 32 meg video card bland sound card XP using system.
I will settle for "Yes your computer will easily run this game" if you want to leave it at that :)

Nobody will know the final requirements at this stage, all I can say is that on my P3 800 Mhz, 512 Mb memory with a 32 MB onboard vanilla graphics card, the current version runs just fine.
The map scroll is a bit slow, but there is an option to run with 16 bit graphics instead of 32 bit graphics (lowering the amount of colors in the palette), which in my opinion makes the game run like a dream with only a slight alteration in the graphics.

The game scroll can also be adjusted to the speed of your computer.

Sounds encouraging.

When the game comes out, if I can't run it, it will be the biggest bummer of 2004 if you ask me.

I do not currently have a full global WW2 grand strategy game in my collection.

I want one.

And no, don't offer suggestions :), I know what is out there.

I am still waiting for a reason hehe.
