Now that WiTP is out and it looks like WaW isnt to far away whats next for 2by3 games.
I think the effort and detail Gary Grigsby games show are a credit and we all should be gratefull that this man is making wargames. His games are classic wargames which are ground breaking and will always be remembered as classics.
So whats next? Im not a huge fan of the Pacific and do like the look of WaW, I own BTR and BoB but I feel that he is going to release a game which will become my all time favourite.

I hope they will make a remake of War in Russia! It says on their homepage that there is a game covereing the eastern front but it is "on hold". I hope they take that one up now. It seems that they have gone from corps to division scale which I think is bad. It will surley be a terrific game but I like it when it is corps instead. Easier to play and more realistic.

How about a WWIII game encompassing the entire world? Maybe set in the 1970's or 80's. Model it on some crazy amalgamation of WiF, Harpoon and WitP. You'd have to take nukes out of the picture, so it would not necessarily be historically accurate. Sounds weird but if 2by3 could pull it off it could be really great.

War in Russia...? Whatever. [>:]
WWIII? I dunno, maybe. Depends upon how it turns out.
Looking for UV: Med. myself. Although ground combat would be more important in the Med as a lot of the action was between the British/Commonwealth (and later US) armies, and the German/Italian armies. But the ships were definitely important, supply and reinforcements were a bear!

A Med game would be most intriguing as it is the one area that the Axis could have perhaps pulled off a victory in WW2 in lieu of a DoW of the USSR. The area would have to include the Mideast oil fields to Iraq as they would probably be the ultimate objective. The whole scenario could be based on Erich Raeder's "Operation Sphinx" phase one through 3 and Wavell's counter "Operation Compass". By ultimately stretching the UKs resources and fighting on the ground of their choosing, the Axis may have been able to attrite the Commonwealth to the "Peace Table". Of course after the armistice then it would be time for the USSR, probably sometime in 43.
