Is ther multiplayer?

Yes there is multiplayer, but there are not many games being played. Finding one is hit or miss (mostly miss). The multiplayer is just like the actual game. I have experienced drops and crashes, though when not crashing the play is lag free, on broadband at least.
There is purportedly a persistent server mode in which the server can be set up to play a certain scenario and players can come and go as they please, however I have not seen this yet in practice.

And finally, the game is excellent. I just wish it was in stores so more people were playing it (especially on line).

Persistent server works fine, orat least it did in Beta. Haven't had time to play MP yet.. [:@]

how do u search for server?

You dont have to search. As shown on page 98 of the fine manual, just select multiplay.
If anyone is hosting in public mode, it will automagically show up.
