Cannot run UV on new WinXP machine

I just built a new PC with WinXP and when I try to run UV (patched back up to v2.30), I get a message that a 'video codec' is needed and I can get this from
www.indeo.ligos.com. I tried to get to this website, but cannot.
How can I get this codec so I can run UV again? I tried to click past it and got a very colorful screen, just no UV.
PC Spec:
Athlon XP Barton 2800
512 mb ram
g-force2 mx400 agp video card
WinXP Home

Well, I was able to fix my problem on my own. Found the Indeo website and for the low, low price of 14.95 I was able to download the Codec file I needed. It appears that this Codec was shipped with all Windows CD's, except the SP1 cd. This will explain why I was able to run UV just fine on Win98, but not WinXP SP1.
Well, now that UV is up and running, I can finish with my invasion of Vila. Then, on to Shortlands, time permitting.
No, I am not blaming Matrix for this as they are probably unaware of this little 'glitch' with the SP1 CD's. Needless to say, I will be burning this codec to cd, just in case.

That's very odd. I have a non-SP1 CD of XP (bought it a year and a half ago), I never had any problems with UV. I recently rebuilt my computer, and after full updates (which would include the SP1 update) I have a smoothly running machine that has no problem with UV.
Sounds like Micro$oft were real buggers to leave that codec off the 'updated' XP CD, and yet it was on older versions.
