Any chance of a patch?

Hi Milo,

I appreciate you're trying to get as many bugs squashed as possible in the first patch, but I think it may be worth releasing one soon.

Personally speaking I can't continue any game where the archon is dead (CTD), I have problems when a fighter wing is dead (CTD), and there's the really-quite-annoying fighter-death-on-landing issue.

Just something to tide us over? :) Pretty please?

Cripes, man. It's only been out 2 weeks, and a patch *is* coming. [;)]

Hi Skum,

Could you send me a save game that is giving you CTD trouble? Thanks!

By the way, losing the Archon (or almost any carrier) should mean failure of the campaign. It is supposed to show you a campaign failure message and then take you back to the beginning of the campaign so that you can try again.

I've already submitted the patch to Matrix. I believe that it is in their final QA process, and should be released pretty soon (unless they find some additional problems that send me back to the proverbial drawing board).

I must say 1st that I am enjoying the game immensely. I've been lurking around the forums for a while, but will probably start posting more frequently. That's unusual for me, but the game is that good.

I am looking forward to the patch to take care of a few minor things. I see it is in playtest, is there a projected release date yet. I'd like to do a Gamespot review, but would like the patch before I do.

Keith,

With any luck, it will be online tonight. If not, then certainly by Monday.

You must be playing through it as a cruiser/destroyer pilot, then. [;)]
