If I remeber right when Ss loads a sector there is 'terrain haze.mag' or so. And with hell's kitchen having that heavy red fog I was woundering:
Is it possible to use that fog effect in a space sector? If yes is it possible to make it a denser fog?
If so voala: nebula's. ---falshes over to a Star Trek II style fight in Ss.

Not really, no. The terrain haze model is just used to mask the sharp dividing line of the horizon, it doesn't really have anything to do with fog or storm effects.
I'll throw this on the pile of things to think about for future patches. No promises that it will get done, of course.

It's not. There are some additional tool programs required to make terrain sectors, and they are in no shape to release to the public.
