Friendly A/C destroyed on bases

This one is strange.
I had all my squadrons at Singapore on Naval attack except for two Hurricane fighter squadrons which were "Standing down."

A Japanese Transport fleet moved into the Singapore hex on it's way around the peninsula.

My A/C jumped all over them like hornets and did rather well.

THE STRANGE PART is the same naval attacks which DID NOT include ANY hurricanes DESTROYED almost ALL the Hurricane fighters I had on the airfield in Singapore!!!!!!!!!!

Can someone explain how my hurricane fighters on the Singapore airbase were destroyed BY MY OWN AIRCRAFT attcking Japanese fleets at sea?! (Albiet in the same hex)

AND NO, the Jap TF WAS NOT A surface combat or a Bombardment TF but a Transport TF. NO, there were no unsigted TFs there. Also, the destruction happened as a result of the Naval attacks and WAS listed in the Naval attack results as Hurricanes DESTROYED ON THE GROUND by the air attack on the TF?

The Matrix folks will need to see the saved game files on that one.

Sorry, I played way beyond that point so I don't have a save game. However,

It only seems to happen when:

A) Enemy TF is in a base hex.
B) The naval air attack comes from THAT base hex
C) Other squadrons of A/C are on the ground (On stand down orders) on the airbase launching the naval air attack.
D) The TF must be 'passing through' the hex and not 'in the hex.' By that I mean, the bug won't occur if the TF's destination is the base hex.
E) If the aircraft are on ANY other mission, they 'bug' will not occur.

I've not seen it at any other location because the TF's have been UNLOADING in the other base hexes. It only occurred at Singapore with TF's actually "moving through" the hex enroute to a different location.

I've not seen it otherwise.

Stuff like that is exactly why we need saves ... it is a once in a lifetime setup.

Please! Please! Please!

Save every day and keep at least a weeks worth of previous turns in case you don't spot a problem right off.

You all have as big a stake as we do at getting all the bugs fixed. We are one big team of grogs. Gotta work together.
