Aircraft losses

Very strange! In a recent air strike the British carriers launched 30 x Swordfish and some how they lost 52 and had 16 damaged?
Is this a known bug?

Not a bug.. that'll be FoW (Fog of War) in the combat reports.

But it cant be FOW if thyey are my own aircraft surely?
Jap ones i would agree but not my own sides?

Hi Ian, how are you doing ?
In WITP, FOW is for both sides commanders. Seems that low-level officers also increase thei own losses to have more replacement and then sell planes and weapons on the balck market...
